We’re excited to share our longstanding partnership with eAgronom on carbon farming projects across Europe. Based in Estonia, eAgronom is a regenerative agriculture project developer that works with farmers and corporations to deliver high-quality carbon farming projects, with a strong emphasis on soil carbon MRV, supported by an in-house AI-powered remote sensing solution to detect land use history, field boundaries, and practice implementation.

Together, we have carried out the MRV for projects across more than 300,000 hectares in Europe in 6 countries including Spain, Romania and Ukraine

“Seqana’s expertise and structured, scientifically robust approach help ensure that our soil data collection meets the highest standards, supporting the scalability and credibility of our carbon projects. This collaboration strengthens our ability to deliver reliable outcomes for farmers implementing regenerative practices.”  – Robin Saluoks, CEO and founder of eAgronom

What our partnership looks like:

eAgronom works directly with the farmers and leads the development creation of new cohorts of carbon farming projects across Europe. Their goal is to help farmers benefit from adopting regenerative agriculture practices. By providing farm-level data on greenhouse gas emissions and real-time crop monitoring, eAgronom enables a smooth, data-driven transition to scalable and sustainable agriculture.

Seqana acts as a geospatial layer for some of eAgronom’s key insights. We provide expert MRV consultation on sample size calculations, soil organic carbon (SOC) variance, and the impacts of the variance on uncertainty deductions for their projects. We deliver sampling plans that calculate the economically optimal sample size for MRV, by balancing project economics, compliance, and long term return on investment. This approach produces compliant ground-truth data while actively reducing uncertainty at the project level. These insights strengthen long-term project economics and help finance the transition to resilient food systems at scale.

“Working with eAgronom has been a real pleasure. Our teams are closely aligned in values, ambition, and how we approach impact. Bringing together Seqana’s SOC MRV expertise and eAgronom’s rigorous, scalable project development creates clear value for both companies and for the land users driving regenerative agriculture on the ground.”  – Claire Lagier, Sr. Customer Success Manager at Seqana

We look forward to seeing these projects continue to mature, delivering measurable benefits to soil health and fostering more resilient agricultural systems across Europe. As our collaboration expands, we are committed to advancing scientifically rigorous MRV as the standard for regenerative agriculture projects at scale, prioritizing long-term, credible impact at every stage.

About eAgronom

eAgronom is an agriculture-focused climate tech company founded in 2016 by Robin Saluoks and Kristjan Luha in Tallinn, Estonia. Using real-time agri-tech monitoring programs in addition to on-the-ground educational outreach, eAgronom helps farmers adopt sustainable practices in a financially viable way for the good of their farms and the entire planet. Soil health is at the heart of eAgronom’s work and the bedrock of its soil carbon offsetting and insetting programs, which subsidizes farms working to restore and regenerate soil, the second-largest natural carbon sink on Earth. Working directly with independent farmers, major agricultural conglomerates, and food companies, eAgronom implements crop monitoring from fields, automated reporting, crop and yield plans, farm activity schedules, and more. Acting as a trusted advisor between farmers and the food sector, it helps measure, verify, and reduce farmers' carbon footprints while educating them on sustainable practices.

About Seqana

Based in Berlin, Seqana specializes in leveraging remote sensing and machine learning to develop data-driven Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) solutions for soil-based carbon removal projects. Whether the objective is to enhance soil health, claim CO2 removals, or strengthen supply chain resilience, Seqana delivers scientifically rigorous, scalable solutions for corporations and project developers worldwide.
